The packaging stream is evolving. Resource efficient flexible plastic packaging provides outstanding product protection in innovative formats. Flexible packaging is displacing many types of packaging formats, including those that are traditionally recycled.
Currently, in North America, flexible plastic packaging is not typically accepted in recycling programs. As the expectation for full lifecycle management of packaging increases, it is important that the related industries take part in the foundation of future solutions to provide effective and economic recovery options for flexible plastic packaging.
Commitment to Finding Recovery Solutions for Flexible Plastic Packaging
The Materials Recovery for the Future project provides leading members of the flexible plastic packaging value chain an opportunity to collaborate on a focused research program and a shared vision.

Solemn Oath Brewery makes craft beer in Naperville, Illinois. We are driven by our passion for West Coast, Belgian, and barrel-aged beers.
When we opened in 2012, Naperville was no Beer City, USA. Our proximity to Chicago allowed us to grow our business while curious locals navigated their way to our well-hidden industrial park. We weren't naïve; this was wine, cocktails, and buckets-of-beer territory and we knew that. Fast forward to today, and, well, it's a different world out here. Our taproom is open seven days a week, often at capacity. You can't throw a rock in or around Naperville without hitting a Solemn Oath tap handle. We're making more beer in more packages than ever before, and we're poised to keep growing. The story of our success is just the flipside of your own story of hearing about Solemn Oath, visiting our taproom, and seeking out our beer around town. How about we pause here for a moment and just shake our heads a little bit at how dope it is that we've built this thing together.
Alter Brewing has become a friendly hub where novices and experts alike can gather together in their appreciation for, and enjoyment of, the craft of brewing. We endeavor to become a force for change and innovation both in our local community and also the beer world at large, and continue to look forward to what the future brings!
